The Sunnah acts
whoever performs them will have reward, and whoever leaves them, his hajj is still valid. Among these Sunnah acts and preferred practices are:
– For a man to enter ihram in a white garment.
– For a person to take a bath before entering ihram.
– For a person to enter ihram after one of the five daily prayers, or after praying two rak’ahs.
– For a person to take a bath upon entering Mecca and also for the Day of Arafah.
– To collect the pebbles for the Rami of Jamrat al-Aqabah from Muzdalifah.
– For a man to raise his voice when saying the Talbiyah.
– To engage in abundant remembrance of Allah and supplication, and to say “La ilaha illallah” on the Day of Arafah.
– To make supplication after throwing the small and middle Jamarat during the Days of Tashreeq.
