Sa’i between the small hills of Safa and Marwah is a pillar of Hajj and Umrah, where the pilgrim performs the distance seven times, as the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, did. The Sa’i starts from the Safa mount at the visible rocks on the ground floor and ends at the Marwah mount. It is best when reaching the first mount of Safa or Marwah at the start of each Sa’i lap to raise hands and supplicate to Allah without hindering the progress of others and causing congestion. Everyone should follow the instructions of security personnel and organizers in the Grand Mosque.
