Arafat is a rocky area about 300m in length located between Mecca and Taif, about 23 km away from the Holy Mosque. And in Arafat, the most significant Hajj ritual and standing is observed, which is a pillar of Hajj. The Day of Arafat, corresponding to the ninth of Dhu al-Hijjah, is one of the most important days of the year for the pilgrims and Muslims in general as it is a day when Allah forgives His servants, responds to their prayers, and forgives their sins and mistakes. The pilgrim prays Dhuhr and Asr in Arafat, listens to the Arafat sermon from Masjid Namirah, continues supplicating and imploring, and with sunset, proceeds to Muzdalifah.
