The Day of Sacrifice is the day of Eid Al-Adha, the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, coming after the Day of Arafat and followed by the days of Tashreeq, considered the best days of the year, where the pilgrim performs most of the Hajj rites, hence also called (the Great Hajj Day). The pilgrim performs great acts of worship on this day which include: ● Supplication, remembrance, prayer, and invocation from after Fajr prayer until sunrise. ● Stopping the Talbiyah and starting Takbir, where both Talbiyah and Takbir are combined on this day. ● Stoning the Jamrah Al-Aqabah. ● Slaughtering the sacrifices in obedience to Allah. ● The pilgrim shaves their head, exits the state of Ihram. ● The pilgrim performs Tawaf and Sa’i between Safa and Marwah.
